Sport Relief: The Sport Relief Cambridge Mile was a huge success this year with over 1200 taking part at the Milton Country Park. We're hoping to surpass our previous fundraising effort of £32,000 for the Cambridge Mile so if you've sponsored someone, please be generous to help vulnerable people around the world.

We are pleased to hear that many ofthe local sports clubs are recommending our practice. Added to that list, the Cambridge U. Hare & Hounds Club has officially endorsed our practice.

Winner of the 2012 Cambridge Wireless Discovering Start-Ups Competition: The Cambridge Medical Centre's sister company Advanced Balance Systems Ltd. has won the 2012 Cambridge Wireless Discovering Start-Ups Competition. We presented the innovative technology Walkasins - the first 'sensory prosthesis' that enhances balance and mobility in people with balance problems through vibrotactile biofeedback. In initial trials, Walkasins reduced the estimated falls risk in people identified as at risk of falling by over 50% after only 30 minutes of practice with the device. This was a superior result than those achieved with 3 to 6 months of exercise therapy to improve balance as reported in the scientific literature. Welcome to the website of the Cambridge Medical Centre. The Cambridge Medical Centre was established in 2008 providing skilled private physiotherapy. Our physiotherapists are members of theChartered Society of Physiotherapy , the Organisation of Physiotherapists in Private Practice , are registered with the Health Professions Council. The Cambridge Medical Centre is situated at the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre on Queen Anne Terrace with parking next door and at the Beechwood Practice at 41 Hills Road (on Mondays) also with on-site parking.

We treat all musculo-skeletal problems including neck and back problems, sports injuries, headaches, occupational related disorders such as RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome and can provide pre/post-operative rehabilitation.

The Cambridge Medical Centre also provides services for many of the Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin sports teams and dance groups, several large companies in conjunction with their occupational health departments. We are listed in the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and are able to take on medico-legal work and receive instructions. The Cambridge Medical Centre offers flexible appointments and is recognised by all major insurance companies.
