Joshua Wies, MCSP

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland USA, I received my BSc in Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park and my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1993. I have worked in most clinical settings, and now specialise in treatment of musculoskeletal problems with a focus on the shoulder and the foot.

I see a large number of sports injuries in my practice and am recommended by many of the university clubs.

I have two additional areas of special interest - treatment of chronic pain conditions and treatment of dance-related injuries.

I am working to get my PhD from the Open University for my research on assessment and treatment of the shoulder which was carried out during my time as the Senior Research Physio for the Addenbrookes NHS Trust Rheumatology Research Unit. I submitted my thesis and am now awaiting my viva voce.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and am interested in the arts, playing guitar and piano and gardening.
